Beechwood Inn's Hardwood Grille

Overview:

Beechwood Inn's Hardwood Grille is a brewpub located in Erie Pennsylvania. It is connected to the Erie Brewing Company, from which you can order beer. The restaurant at Beechwood Inn's is great and offers wings, burgers, pizza, sandwiches, and salads.

The Food:

This restaurant had a good mix of food variety. We had fish tacos, a burger, poutine, wings, and pretzels with beer cheese. The wings for our appetizer were great. They were not heavily seasoned with buffalo sauce so you could taste the meat well. The wings were also super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The burger for my main course was also great. I got pub fries on the side which were fried and seasoned to my liking.

Service:

The service at Beechwood Inn's Hardwood Grille is not like your typical restaurant. Once you sit down and browse the menu, you need to order at a window inside the restaurant. There are waiters, however, they only take drink orders. Once you place your order at the window they give you a buzzer to let you know when the food is ready then you go pick it up. I personally do not like this as it makes you feel like you are eating in a cafeteria even though it is a sit-down restaurant.

Atmosphere:

The decor and feel of the restaurant is nice. There is a main room where many tables are spread out with the corner of the restaurant having a lounge area. If you want to eat outside they have a large patio with plenty of tables.

Rating: Good |⭐⭐⭐⭐✩|

If you are visiting Erie or live in the area, the Beechwood Inn's Hardwood Grille is a safe choice to go with to enjoy a nice casual dinner. I think their food is great and the beer that is offered by the on-site Erie Brewing Company enhances the experience. My main complaint is that you have to order and pick up the food yourself.
