Overview:

Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint is a bar located on S Virginia Dare Trail in Kill Devil Hills on the Outer Banks. Their menu is very simple only serving burgers, fries, sweet potato fries, and deep-fried Oreos along with a large beer selection. There is one table outside to eat at and they offer takeout or dine-in options.

The Food:

At Jack Brown's I got the Kobra Kai & Elvis Burgers. The Kobra Kai had cream cheese, pickled jalapenos, and jalapeno jelly. It was spicy and creamy with all the ingredients balancing each other out. I thought the Elvis was a tasty burger too. It had bacon, peanut butter, mayo, and the bartender recommended the jalapeno jelly as well. The combo meals also come with crinkle-cut french fries and pickle spears. 

Service:

All the staff at Jack Brown's were really friendly. The hostess and bartenders we interacted with were friendly and had a smile on their faces. The one bartender made great conversation and also recommended the jalapeno jelly on the Elvis Burger. 

Atmosphere:

The inside of Jack Brown's is one of the best parts of the restaurant. It is creatively decorated with stickers, lockers, car parts, and dollar bills strung all over the walls. You can take a dollar bill, write whatever you want on it, then stick it on the wall. I think the decor really makes you feel like you are in a cool beach bar with a cool story.

Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint in Kill Devil Hills offers a great bar spot for anyone on vacation or locals. I really enjoyed their simple menu, friendly staff, and cool interior. They keep things down to earth which makes going there a great time!
