Overview:

Mineo's Pizza is a local Pittsburgh pizza shop with its newest location in Allison Park on Wildwood Rd. They offer different varieties of Pizza and classic Italian fare. To many, they are known as one of the best pizza places in Pittsburgh.

The Food:

Mineo's has some of the most legendary pizzas in Pittsburgh. However, we also get other things when we go. This last time we got beans and greens for the first time. It is chicken noodle broth, sausage, beans, and collared greens all mixed up into a soup. It was great and breaks up the heaviness of the pizza. Next, we also got an Italian hoagie. It had tons of Italian deli meat on it with lettuce, tomato, onion, and Italian dressing. I thought it was well put together and perfectly toasted.

However, the main event at Mineo's is the pizza. This time we got the pepperoni pizza which has lots of provolone cheese and the pepperoni is hidden underneath. Every ingredient is high quality and its put together with lots of care.

Service:

We always get takeout at Mineo's so we never have been inside. However, the pickup experience is tricky at times. Since the pizza is so popular, picking it up on the weekend can take a while. Although, I think the wait is always worth it!

Rating: Excellent |⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐|

Mineo's Pizza does not need a long review. It is hands down my favorite pizza, and one of the best pizza places in Pittsburgh. The quality of ingredients is what makes pizzas different and theirs is leaps ahead of the rest. They also have other great menu items like the Italian hoagie and beans and greens. My only other recommendation is to try and get it on a weekday when it's not as busy!
