Compadres is a Mexican restaurant located just north of Butler. This restaurant is part of a chain of restaurants of the same name. They offer an extensive menu of Mexican cuisine. There is easy access to the restaurant from outside and ample parking.

The Food:

Compadres Mexican Restaurant serves many classic Mexican dishes. I ordered the fajita quesadilla. It had grilled veggies, steak, cheese, and was wrapped in a delicious toasted tortilla. The sides of my meal were Mexican rice, refried beans, and a Mexican salad. My food came out hot and everything tasted great. The quesadilla was crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly on the inside. None of my food was greasy which happens sometimes at Mexican restaurants. The chips and salsa was also a tasty snack while we waited for our food to be cooked. 

Service:

The waitress we had at Compadres was great. They came back to refill drinks often and were nice. The staff was also going around cleaning half the restaurant as it was getting close to closing and seemed to be doing a great job. 

Atmosphere:

Compadres offer a warm and cozy inside. The majority of the seating area is booths. However, there are also normal tables to sit at in the back. There is a variety of Mexican music playing while you are inside. The walls and booths are also appropriately decorated.

Overall, Compadres is a good Mexican restaurant with lots to offer during lunch and dinner. Their portion sizes are generous and the staff is friendly. This is a good choice for a relaxing evening dinner or a birthday. If you are in the Butler area and want Mexican, give Compadres a try!
