Bravo Italian Kitchen

Bravo Italian Kitchen (McKnight)

Overview:

I recently visited the Bravo Italian Kitchen on McKnight Rd after receiving a few coupons for the restaurant. Bravo is an upscale but still casual Italian restaurant that offers a variety of food including pasta, pizza, and seafood.

The Food:

Bravo’s food is surprisingly good. I had not been there for many years before making this visit. I was pleased with the food that came out throughout my dinner. I started off with spinach artichoke dip. They served it with garlic seasoned flatbread and the dip had a tomato compote on top. For my main course, I had the fra diavolo. It has noodles and a spicy tomato cream sauce with mushrooms. It had a nice level of spice along with being thick enough to coat all the noodles, I enjoyed it a lot! The rest of my party had a salad, and spaghetti and meatballs which were both good as well. After our main course, I ordered a tiramisu for dessert. This dessert was delicious, I enjoyed the coffee soaked ladyfingers and the mascarpone cheese was rich but not overbearing. The top of the dessert was dusted with cocoa powder.

Service :

I felt the service at Bravo was also exceptionally well. Our waitress frequently checked in on us to refill drinks and see if we needed anything. Our food also came out in regular intervals which made the meal flow great.

Atmosphere:

The atmosphere at Bravo’s was good for the most part. The inside is decorated like it’s a slightly more upscale restaurant but the ceiling makes it feel like you’re in a snack shack. Additionally, our table and my chair was wobbly which made the quality of the overall experience a little less enjoyable.

Rating: Good |⭐⭐⭐⭐✩|

Bravo Italian Kitchen on McKnight Rd offers a variety of fresh made Italian dishes which I thought were surprisingly good. The service here is nice and it feels slightly upscale without being too formal. My only complaint was the wobbly table and chair I had. If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion, Bravo would be a good choice.
