Southern Tier Brewing
Overview:
Southern Tier Brewing is a brewery based out of Lakewood New York. The location I visited was on the North Shore in Pittsburgh. They offer casual brewpub food along with a lengthy list of in-house beers.

The Food:
Overall, the food at Southern Tier Brewing is excellent! They have burgers, salads, sandwiches, appetizers, and a great beer selection. I got a flight of beer to start things off which was amazing. The fried pickle chips were crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. I had the steel city burger on a sesame seed bun with french fries for entrees. The bun was soft and fresh and the meat was tender and juicy. I think the beer selection pairs exceptionally well with the food they offer.
Service:
The waitstaff at Southern Tier Brewing is very friendly and makes sure you have everything you need. I thought the appetizers and entrees came out in good time to evenly space out the meal without taking too long.

Atmosphere:
My favorite part of Southern Tier Brewing is the atmosphere. There is a large indoor dining area with a full bar. Additionally, the restaurant has a beer garden-style outdoor eating area with turf grass on the side. It is spacious and is the perfect place to sit on a warmer day. If you have a dog, the outside eating area is dog friendly.
Rating: Excellent |⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐|
Southern Tier Brewing is a great restaurant to visit if you are in Pittsburgh's Northside for a concert or sporting event. There is plenty of space to sit and enjoy a relaxing meal outside or inside. I thought the food was fantastic and the beer selection is phenomenal as they make it all in-house.
