The Crafthouse Gastropub

Overview:

The Crafthouse Gastropub is an American restaurant in Kittanning PA. This is a great place to get a beer, mixed drink, or exemplary bar food. In particular, they have many appetizers on their menu which is what we decided to order for our meal.

The Food:

During our visit to Crafthouse, we decided to get drinks and appetizers for our dinner. Two of the drinks we got were the Moscow mule and mojito. The mule was great and mixed perfectly. However, the mojito was watered down and did not taste right. They did make it up by giving us a different drink on the house. Overall, the appetizers were great and each stood out in their own way. The sauce that comes with the chips was different but tasty. I thought the beer cheese and honey mustard went well with the pretzel. Also, it was good to see them serve whole wings which was a delicious treat! The sauce on the wings was tangy and spicy. We thought the nachos were also good but they did get messy towards the end. 

Service:

I thought the waitress we had during our visit to Crafthouse was good. She did check in on us during our meal. When we told her the mojito was not great, she fixed it right away. 

Atmosphere: 

The atmosphere at this restaurant was very welcoming. You can sit inside at a table or the bar if you want to beat the heat during the summer. However, if it is cooler I recommend sitting on their outdoor patio. There are nice decorations on the patio which creates a great environment to eat in.

The Crafthouse Gastropub in Kittanning PA offers classic American bar food fare. The outside patio is dog friendly with water bowls for them to drink while you are eating. I think the food was good and the drinks went well with our dinner. If you are in the area or passing through, consider coming here for a bite to eat or enjoy a drink.
