Overview:

Hurricane Moe's is a beachside bar & grill located in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. The restaurant offers many different seafood dishes and drinks at its bar. There is a bar inside and outside on their 2nd-floor deck where you can also eat. Hurricane Moe's also has the best happy hour in the Outer Banks that is served from 3-5PM daily.

The Food:

I think the food at Hurricane Moe's was really good for what you get. They have a lunch and dinner menu. However, the main attraction is the happy hour menu from 3-5PM. You can get $1 tacos, $0.25 peel & eat shrimp, and $0.50 wings. This allows you to feed a large number of people for a reasonable price. The other menu items are just as good. My party also had cobb salad, fried oysters, oysters mo, and Hatteras clam chowder. All of the seafood was freshly made and delicious. My favorite dish was the fresh fried oysters which were batter dipped and cooked to golden perfection. 

Service:

The service at Hurricane Moe's was also great. Our waitress got us a drink, the category 5 hurricane. Along with refilling our drinks throughout our meal. The dining room did get busier while we were there, but our waitress always came back to check on us.

Atmosphere:

The atmosphere at Hurricane Moe's was pretty cool. The dining room is beach themed with the ceiling having a cool, colorful design. The dining area is cozy though small. There is also a bar inside and one on the upstairs outdoor deck.

Hurricane Moe's is a great choice if you are looking to feed a large group and also want good food. The staff is very friendly and the drinks are refreshing. Happy Hour offers a unique variety of options to choose from and comes in large family-style plates. The only downside is the wait to get in the restaurant can be long. However, it is for good reason as the food they serve is fantastic!
