Hal’s Bar & Grill

Overview:

Hal's Bar & Grill offers standard bar fare and specialty items you would not find at a bar. They have creative appetizers like meatball cupcakes and ribeye dinners. I stuck with the traditional fare for my meal, which did not disappoint.

The Food:

Hal's has some of the best wings in Pittsburgh. We got the garlic parmesan and the honey habanero. Both were fantastic and cooked to perfection. The wings were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The rest of the food we got was great, in particular, the onion rings that came with the Italian hoagie were excellent. 

Service:

The wait staff at Hal's was great, our waitress was friendly and got us what we needed. The food came out in a good time as well as the appetizers. 

Atmosphere:

Hal's inside is small but the atmosphere is great. The bar is big and has lots of TVs to watch the games. There are also booths and high-top tables to sit down and eat.

Hal's Bar & Grill is a great local restaurant and bar with higher quality food than you would find at a normal bar. You can tell they put time and effort into finding great ingredients for all their food. I recommend this place to anyone who loves great bar food with a higher-class twist!
