Buffalo Wild Wings: A Surprisingly Good Wing Chain

Overview:

Buffalo Wild Wings is a large nationwide chain serving chicken wings and other bar food fare. The location I visited was in Cranberry PA just north of Pittsburgh. Buffalo Wild Wings offers dine-in or to-go orders if you want to take it home.

The Food:

Buffalo Wild Wings offers a large mix of food on its menu. They have bone-in or boneless wings, nachos, drinks, and desserts. To start off my meal, I had a strawberry margarita. We visited during happy hour and on Tuesday so our drinks and wings were discounted. For an appetizer, we tried the house sampler which has a little bit of everything. It includes boneless wings, chips & salsa, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks. The house sampler was great and everything on the platter was cooked well. The portion size was huge and could be a full meal for two. For our main course, we ate 30 traditional wings and they were pretty good. The size of the wings was average to small but the sauces were all great.

Service:

Our waitress was great and got us whatever we needed throughout our meal. The food was brought out in a reasonable time even though they were busy for happy hour!

Atmosphere:

The inside of Buffalo Wild Wings is very similar to Chili's or Applebees. There are tables to sit at in the dining room along with high-top tables. Additionally, there is also a bar with plenty of seats to catch a game and drink a beer.

Rating: Good |⭐⭐⭐⭐✩|

The Buffalo Wild Wings in Cranberry is a great place to watch a game and enjoy some quick bar food. I think the prices are reasonable and if you sign up for the rewards program there are additional coupons and benefits. With the app, you can also play trivia on your phone while you eat and earn free food!
