Goodfellas Drafthouse

Overview:

Goodfellas Drafthouse is a local bar situated on the corner of  Mt Nebo and Nicholson Rd. They have classic bar food such as burgers, wings, pizza, and hot sandwiches. Additionally, there is a bar which has plenty of draft beers. They have easy to remember hours being open from 11AM to midnight every day. Dining options include dine-in, takeout, or delivery through DoorDash.

The Food:

Goodfellas has a large selection of food, of which our party tried a little bit of everything.

Wet n Dusty Wings w/ House Salad

For dinner I ordered the wet n dusty wings with a side salad. The wings were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I really enjoyed the wet n dusty sauce which combines buffalo and the house dry rub. For about $1 per wing they were good but not cheap either.

Reuben 

Another item ordered at the table was the Reuben sandwich. It was on the classic rye bread and had shaved corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and thousand island dressing. It also came with a side of  the house made chips.

California Chicken Wrap

We also ordered the California chicken wrap and it was the least enjoyed dinner. The chicken was dry and they did not put any of the spicy sauce that is supposed to come with it.

Shrimp Tacos 

Lastly, the shrimp tacos were also just ok. It had fried shrimp with cheese, sauce, peppadew peppers, and lettuce. The sauce was missing from the tacos as well and they were underwhelming in taste.

Service:

Our waitress was friendly and helped us pick out food and drinks since it was our first time. However, after we ordered our food it took a while to get drink refills and when we asked for more sauce for the food that did not get any they ended up charging us extra. 

Atmosphere:

Goodfellas is your run of the mill bar and restaurant with a decent sized bar in the middle of the place with booth tables surrounding it. There are plenty of TVs so you can watch the latest game while you eat at the bar or tables.

Goodfellas is a nice place to go if you want to catch a game and eat pretty good bar food. Some of the dishes we ordered like the shrimp tacos and chicken wrap was just ok but that was mainly because they forgot the sauce. The dishes we liked such as the wings and Reuben were really good and worth getting again. We thought the service was ok but that happens sometimes. The atmosphere was pretty good here and is a convenient location for those who live in Ohio Township, Sewickley, or Franklin Park. I definitely want to try this place to see if it is better or worse but give it a try if you are in the area.
