The Food:

Sour Cerveza

There is lots of variety in the beers served on tap at Four Points. To start, we had the sour cerveza which is a sour lager infused with salt and lime puree. It is very tart but also has a smooth aftertaste being a crisp lager.

I had the blue & yellow, which is a west coast pilsner hopped with saphir and mosaic. This was a different drink than I am used to since most pilsners do not have hops. However, it was a nice balance between all the ingredients, and the hops were not overpowering. All the pizzas were priced between

Four Points Brewing is also a great place to grab a bite to eat from one of the rotating pop-ups. Normally, breweries get food trucks, but since Western Ave is very busy and hard to park a truck, they set up in the courtyard to the left of the building with tents. When we went to Four Points, they had Muns Pizza as the pop-up food vendor.

We ordered both the classic cheese and tomato pies. Both were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of char on the crust and the undercarriage. Ingredients were top-notch, with the dough, sauce, and cheese being very high-quality and tasty! All the pizzas were priced between $13-$18. Below is a picture of the menu they had when I went.

Service:

The bartender at Four Points Brewing was great when we went. He got us drinks quick when it was our turn to order, and the pours were perfect. Behind the bar, there was also a DJ who was spinning vinyl records, which I thought was cool.

Atmosphere:

Tables

Inside Four Points Brewing, you will find a nice bar when you walk in to the left. In the back, there is a decent-sized lounge and seating area. The tables on the wall feature wooden booths and chairs, while the lounge area to the left offers couches and TVs for watching games. Along the back wall, you will also find three pinball machines that require money to play.

Four Points Brewing has a lot to offer. If you find yourself in the Northside of Pittsburgh, give this place a try. The beer on tap is top-notch and refreshing. Inside, it is well-decorated and has a cozy, contemporary feel. If you find yourself hungry, they usually have food outside in the courtyard on the side of the building! Four Points Brewing is one of many breweries on the Northside that are great, such as Allegheny City Brewing and Late Addition Brewing.
