CoStar Brewing

Overview:

CoStar Brewing is a cool brewery right on Butler St in Etna. They offer a small list of beers on tap that are all brewed in-house. During the week they have events like Yoga in the Brewery every other Sunday for $5. If you get hungry they also have food trucks parked on the street all throughout the week. Below are the current hours of operation listed on Google.

The Food & Drinks:

Cream Ale
Cream Ale

The beer at CoStar was cold and refreshing! I got the cream ale which is described as light on the pallet with a sweet malt back enhance with Flaked Corn and Barley. Balanced with a light hop crispness at the end of the sip. If you want something else they do have IPAs, sours, and kolsches.

For dinner we got food from 77 Club Pizza. Both of the pies we got were outstanding and probably some of the best pizza ever. The crust was crispy and charred without being overly burnt. Also the toppings were high quality and delicious. The only other pizza I have tried that was this good was Vitalia Wood Fired Oven.

Service:

The service at CoStar was good and pretty standard for bars and breweries. It did not take us long to get drinks even though there were a decent number of people there.

Atmosphere:

Brewing Tanks

The building itself is not very big. The brewing tanks take up the whole left side. To the right are open garage doors, a few tables to sit at, couches, and a bar at the back. It sort of feels like you are in a hangar or garage with the doors open and the high ceilings. You can also sit outside at one of the tables on the side patio.

Costar Brewing is the perfect place to check out if you love breweries and craft beer. The people here are nice and it feels like a laid back setting. All the beers were great and the food truck we had was fantastic. Stop by and try this place out for sure! If you are looking for other breweries in the area, you can also check out Acrospire, Hitchhiker, Dancing Gnome, Lolev, or Old Thunder breweries!
