Perrytown Taphouse
Overview:
Perrytown Taphouse is a bar and grill on Perry Highway in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. They have everything you would want from a bar, including wings, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and more. The restaurant offers dine-in and takeout with online ordering or calling ahead. My friend and I chose to sit at the U-shaped bar, but there are plenty of dining room tables as well. Below are the hours Perrytown Taphouse is open.

My friend and I decided to get dinner while we were drinking here, and we settled on a few sandwiches. He had the Godfather, and I got the fried cod sandwich. He said the Godfather was great, and it had a lot of stuff on it. This included ham, capicola, pepperoni, salami, provolone, LTO, and homemade Italian dressing.
I decided to get the fried cod sandwich, which turned out to be a great choice. It came with a Yuengling-battered cod filet, bun, and sides of cole slaw, tartar, and French fries. The fish had a great crunch to it when you bite in, probably helped by the fact that it's battered in Yuengling! The fries, coleslaw, and tartar were also great. Additionally, we enjoyed the $3 bottled Yuengling happy hour.

Service:
The service at Perrytown was exceptional. Our bartender constantly checked to see if we needed another drink and got us our food order put through quickly. The beers were ice cold, and the food came out hot and fresh!
Atmosphere:
The inside of Perrytown Taphouse is modestly decorated. They have both a dining room and a decent-sized bar, which is where we sat. I liked how they had one TV on the wall so the whole bar could be watching the same game. It made the game on TV more exciting to watch.
Rating: Excellent |⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐|
Perrytown Taphouse is a great place in the North Hills to watch a football game and grab a beer and some great food. I liked how everyone was nice at the bar, and it was neither too loud nor too quiet. The food was definitely better quality than your average bar food, and the drink specials were good too. If you're looking to catch a game while grabbing a bite to eat, check out Perrytown Taphouse. Other great bars in the North Hills include Shenanigans, Hal's, and Allusion Brewing.
